Why must folks limit themselves in a such a way. I like superheroes, they both make superhero comics. I like them both. For different reasons sure, but anyone who is a loyalist in this day and age is jaded.
Never thought i'd see one of these fights involving Dr Manhattan. Come to think of it, why is this even being asked? It's fairly obvious that a being that can't be destroyed, knows everything that will ever happen, and has an unlimited potential of power would be the clear winner.
The trailer just showed some of the action sequences from the books. Obviously making a trailer where people are just talking isn't really going to draw the audience in, even though thats mainly what this film will be. From what i've heard and read that do seem to have captured a great deal of the depth, going so far as to even do an animated Black Freighter feature which on the DVD will be edited into the picture. IMO DVD is what's going to really deliver on the goods, sure it'll be great seeing it in the theatre (God damn you Fox) but on DVD where they can really throw the whole thing out there in all it's glory, which should be about 4 hours worth then thats the Watchmen i'm looking forward too. Also you can't go by anything Alan Moore says. He just automatically hates any of his work being made into films. V for Vendetta for example, hasn't seen it but he hates it. Says the same thing about this. Synder said that he hopes one night years from now Watchmen will be on tv wherever Alan Moore is and he'll watch it and think it wasn't bad, Alan Moore replied with something along the lines of, "Well that was stupid since i'm never going to watch the ********** thing". He's not what you would call enthusiastic about it.

Go back to around 2003, Enter the FOX headquarters just as they are deciding the fate of Arrested Development and slap the person in the face who decides to cancel it. Go forward in time 3 years and sit and watch every season of Lost back to back and be that mindblown i probably won't want to time travel anymore. If i do i'll go back to when i was a kid and give myself the time machine so i don't have to go through finding/building/being given it again. And of course. 1. Forward. 2. Lottery Numbers. 3. Back. 4. ??????. 5. Profit
