I see everyone yelling about Ati tearing it up, it always a back and forth battle. Both are on top at one time or another. I know they compared these two because of there price range, but Nvidia also has the 7950 gx2 which would tear Ati right back. I'm also curious as how loud the Ati fan is. I was going to go with an x1900xt but I heard the fan sounds like a vaccum, did they improve that in the xtx? I'm glad to see this close competition. Although it makes it hard to decide which card ot get, it helps drive innovation, and keeps prices somewhat low.
