my buddy said he read somewhere that you can use the old style display and just get all the new features still (like netflix and installing games onto the hard drive) yet we can't seem to find the option anywhere. Your buddy is mistaken. The "blades" interface is gone. There's no way to retroactively put the NXE features on the old format. That would be impossible, and why would you want to? I don't know where your friend got his information, but it's completely wrong.
