@Thanatos2k @G4m3r0uTL4wZ Gimmicks is all they've EVER done... Remember Rob the Robot? The Powerglove? The Satellaview? The Virtual Boy? The 64DD? The GBA Linking to the GC? The WiiMotes and Wii U Tablet... however they are all attempts at innovation which they have always tried and generally failed at impressing people for the most part. I've really been trying to figure out how they stayed afloat all these years in retrospect lmao they had to have wasted more money on useless hardware than any other console manufacturer out there. They sure do have interesting ideas though that were way ahead of their time. I just wonder if they'll make it through the next generation.

@PatchMaster Where'd you get that idea? The 3DS is a major fail; look at ANY report Nintendo has detailed regarding the sales of the Wii U and 3DS, they are both extremely below projections and they have lost TONS of money because of it. They horrible marketing they've done with their new handheld and home console really made them seem stuck in 2006. Most people in general think the 3DS and Wii U are just reiterations of both the DS and Wii. And I know I sound like some anti-Nintendo hater; however it's not the case. I've played Nintendo consoles and owned every single one since the NES and I even own the Wii U. However, I also thought they might be able to reverse their poor marketing and start garnering some success with the consoles by now. Maybe it'll turn around during Q4 but I really am doubting it since it'll be so overshadowed by the XOne and PS4. I just think Nintendo should consider reconsidering their business model and maybe consider being a handheld only hardware manufacturer as well as putting more development into their software and start churning out AAA titles for the two new consoles. I sure am curious what's in store for Nintendo over the next few years though. I hope the best for them.

@caloc Are you still stuck in the major denial phase? It's been a year pal... wake up. Nobody is buying the console still. Two major flops like the 3DS and Wii U with more issues than simply "poor marketing and business model" are plaguing the company and phasing them out of relevance since they don't want to accept the fact that they are WAY behind now. They are two generations behind in online gaming now; they are two generations behind in proper third-party app management. As sad as it is, Nintendo is going to have to either make some HUGE changes to the way they are running the company and improve upon all of these major areas, or give up on the hardware front and do what SEGA did and just continue churning out AAA titles. I'd much rather see them go down the SEGA route at this point anyway... start pumping out games for the PS4 and XOne with even better quality, as well as churning out more titles for their existing IPs and creating new ones.

@POP-3D @gufberg @WantYouBad @ziproy however you can't ever resell it to somebody else who might want to get enjoyment out of the game you no longer do at a cheaper price. I get what you're saying though and I do love Valve for their business practices.

@ferna1234 @Wolrich Thanks for actually spelling etcetera properly. Hopefully it will inspire others to stop making such an asinine mistake everywhere I look. However you used it wrong... but man it's one of my pet peeves of e-grammar haha too many people also use the short form wrong of "ect." which adds to my stupid frustration :P We all have our vices... come on! But yeah to add to the point; I actually forgot there were ads before these videos, haven't seen them in SO long!!! Good call ferna ;)

@mucking_foron @cameronrobinson I actually thought the same thing but also figured since it's GameSpot you just go back and watch the previous episode to see what he was talking about. Kind of like watching the follow-up of a news broadcast before having watched the original story.

For me it is a reciprocity effect. However I rarely ever spend money on F2P games and I only spend X amount of $ based on how much time I spend with the game; I also take into account the developer, publisher and how in-need these people are for my money versus; say, another F2P game's company who are far better off without my $10 or $20 than the other company. This is very rare for me though and I mostly have supported smaller companies developing projects that I actually have invested significant time in. I find buying vanity items absolutely ridiculous outside of these few circumstances though. I also never play any games that reward you if you pay for things. That is an infuriating business and gameplay model to me.

@Psmitty456 that was what I came here for too haha I wanted to fully complete the first area before moving on so I could start to understand what things I need to pay attention to and what isn't as important throughout the game so I'm not spending 20 hours staring at a picture that had nothing to do with a puzzle I was trying to solve. I love puzzle solving, however I have about 120 other games that I still have to beat, so I'd like to at least complete the majority of the game and in a decent span of time.
