Releasing a GOTY edition of Borderlands 2 without all the DLC is almost as silly as releasing a Mass Effect trilogy bundle that doesn't include all the DLC, even for games released in 2007 and 2010.
@SeiferDINC "I have never had a problem with this so it's not possible that anyone else could! Stop complaining about things that don't affect me!". Contrary to (what seems to be) popular belief, not everyone in the world has a good or consistent internet connection and not everyone wants to pay for one either. Blizzard is basically saying "If you can't get a good internet connection or aren't willing to pay for one to play our games, we don't care about you as a customer." The "biggest non-issue of all time"? For gamers that give a shit about the state of the industry and the games themselves it isn't.
@pooya_d: "People who think D3 is all about killing and looting are soooooooooo ****" ...But Blizzard themselves have pretty much said that Diablo has always been about the loot and the killing. You're not going to convince anyone by being an assh*le. I don't really have an opinion on either game so "I totally recommend every1 to pick" whatever the hell they want to play and accept that not everyone likes the same thing as you.
Why do game developers feel entitled to further profit from games they've already sold? If you buy something, it seems to me that it should be your property and you're entitled to do what you want with it--that's the definition of ownership. For those arguing for developers' right to do whatever they want(accountability to their loyal customers be damned), saying we should "just not buy it": I don't give a damn what the law allows them, this is wrong and I don't understand how you can defend it.
@twztid13 I don't know what you're trying to say but this article has nothing to do with political leanings. He mentioned Fox news because they ran a particularly stupid and ignorant story demonizing video games, not because "REPUBLICANS IS DUMB LOL WUT U GONNA DO ABOUT IT COMMENTERS?"
"Even Fox News--which was up in arms over sex scenes in the original Mass Effect and publicized the idea that violent games like Bulletstorm cause rape--has sat quietly on the sidelines while the menace that is Mass Effect 3 corrupts an entire generation with its mandatory hardcore gay sex at the title screen (and the ending that has caused its own outrage, presumably for its lack of gay sex). " Lol'd.
