Bob, chill out. He wants info and opinions. You didn't need to make those posts. Gen_Dude, if you get Animal Crossings with Wii Speak we can play together and discuss the weather! I am going to be getting ACWii soon....hopefully.

I think Crackdown is. So many people I know only got it for the Halo 3 beta, when they had a great game in their hands all along. I really enjoyed it and had a blast with the game.

I would LOVE a universal Superconsole! However, I know that it's impossible, because a monopoly drives up price and **** on the quality.

Look at Windows for example, up until Mac became a serious competitor Windows was overpriced and garbage. But now that Mac IS a serious competitor we see that they put a lot more work into making it better and cheaper.

A universal console is NOT a frakkin' monopoly. Are DVD players a monopoly? Are CD players a monopoly?

A universal console is just another name for a STANDARDIZED PLATFORM, which is how everything EXCEPT video games are implemented nowadays. The DVD standard, the MPEG standard, the MP3 standard, the 3G standard, etc. The video game industry is about four or five decades behind the times by forcing proprietary hardware on its consumers.

You can't be serious. What you listed are medium standards. The way something is delivered. Also, video games is a whole different animal than any other form of media. There are different brands of DVD players and different features on every player. Even books and magazines have different ways to get to a reader. Proprietary hardware is what saved the video game market. If history repeats itself, god help us if there isn't another Nintendo-esque savior out there.

I am getting those, among others that escape me at this moment. Also, the Gears 2 LE w/Lancer, yeah I am getting that. It will go nicely with my Pip-Boy 3000 and my green Spartan Helmet.

I thought it was funny when earlier in the summer McCain said he would be willing to have town hall meetings with him and debate him and have the people ask the questions. You think he would take the opportunity given to him, but no he dodges the chance to get himself over with more people. All I hear is Change from him, but I never hear many solutions. jfcundiff

I liked the whole campaign funding flipflop right out the gate from Obama.

I'm from the UK.

Can someone tell me why palin Is so appealing In the USA?.

She Is a complete hillbilly who supports Pro-Life, Right to bear arms, Hunting animals, Keeping troops in Iraq, Opposing same sex marriage's and probably even more silly Political views.

It just gets on my nerves people In the USA hear one speech and go one like shes a big weapon and reason for the Republicans to win the political race, Has anyone In USA even saw what she supports and likes her?. I just find her very annoying and a big mistake If she becomes vice President or President later on. But saying that McCain Is just as bad, So what can I say two wrongs don't make a right.

Obama has alot of good policies and seems like a nice guy. Don't know why he has not mopped the floor with the Republicans.

Anthonydaking

That is funny. What has Obama proven for change? Why is he getting hyped? Also calling someone's point of view "silly" and using hillbilly as an argument is just ignorant. Also negates anything good you might have written.

I purchased the cart for $10-$15 online. It is worth it to have both. They are similat, but to play both, they feel different. The NES is tough as nails and yet is still fun. Rearmed is well worth the money. Get both. But if you only want one get ReArmed. It is easier to get a hold of and you don't have to leave your house to play it or wait for shipping.

I am not a big fan, but parts of Everyday Shooter. The colors and baddies are nicely done and mesh well. I wish I could take screenshots in that game. I know there are some others I would consider art, but I am drawing a total blank right now.

It depends on the game and price. I picked up a PS2 motorcycle game for $2 new. I doubt I will open it, but if I do cool. If not, I have a old game sealed year later. I recently bought The Darkness for $10 new. I have been looking forward to playing it. Renting a game is $5 at the local shoops or I could GameFly it, but would have to return a game I have out now that isn't finished. I am not about to buy any game for cheap, but if I have interest in it yeah, or if it is slightly interesting and sub-$5. Why not? I am a collector, but gamer first. So I like being surrounded my games. :D

Why can you only buy one game? Fallout 3 is almost 2 months away, Gears 2 is a little over 2 months away. You should be able to save up some money to get both by then. $20 a week will be more than enough to get both. I don't know your situation, but do some extra chores or put in some extra hours at work.

I personally would get Gears first. But that is because I enjoyed the first one so much. Fallout 3 looks good and I am getting it as well, but this is a totally different game from the other two in the series. Well, either choice you make you can't make the wrong one. Both are looking to be equally awesome.
