yeah being locked from GameFAQs is like getting released from prison. I should probably relish my newfound freedom but all I can think about is getting back to the only world I've ever known

The inventory and occassionally nonlinear options for stage progression were extraordinary. Besides that it just had some excellent level designers. It's one of the best examples of what a 2D platformer can be and its only dissapointing that many games after it never learned from it. It deserves the accolades it gets.

If the game goes gold, I'll be first in line to preorder it. Until then? No. I'll look at anything they release, enjoy it, have fond memories of Duke 3D and move on. Back in 2001? Yeah, I cared back then. I just got tired of waiting.

I felt the same way about Prey. When Prey did finally come out it was everything I thought it could be, basically an old-school shooter done up with next gen graphics. It had a very old school Apogee feel to me (even though 3dRealms ended up not doing a lot of work on the final revision >.>) and while I wouldn't have expected it to be what everyone had in mind, and was not surprised that it was only marginally successful, it did what I hoped.

If DNF comes out, I expect the same thing. I don't expect to be disapointed by the game but I do expect a lot of other people will be. They'll be anticipating the greatest thing ever, and I just know its going to end up playing like an early 90s shooter with better graphics.

No word on Suikoden VI yet. Rumors have been swirling from its "in the planning stages" to "its not being worked on at all"

I doubt Konami is going to abandon the series, but with no news of the game having been announced I wouldnt expect anything before 2009/2010

They could do an LoD sequel but they haven't touched done anything in several years so I wouldn't hold my breath. For the record, I liked it a lot too. I thought the translation was pretty bad though (in a funny way >.>)

I might expect to see something from Atari, depending on how far back they want to go. The 2600 is more then HELLA OLD SCHOOL its like prehistoric, but it had a pretty popular following.

I ~HIGHLY~ doubt the Dreamcast is in. SMS is a very good guess. Fine by me, I hope they put out both the SMS Sonic games, those games are both awesome.

Beyond the emulation problems Robio_basic pointed out, I'd wonder about the file size of Saturn games - is the average Saturn game too big for there to be space? I know that my Wii's internal memory is already filled. If I add very many more games I'm going to have to start moving stuff I'm not using to my SD card. Now if they were able to pull it off, I'd be in love. I could go for some NiGHTS 1.

Hey guys, just joined up and all..yeah

21, go to Arizona State University, I live on the west side of the Phoenix area so I go to ASU's west campus instead of the main campus over in Tempe.

Got an invite to this Union because apparently there aren't enough Seahawks fans here :P Well, I might live in Arizona, but the family's from Washington so being a Seahawk is in my blood ^_^

We had a dissapointing season, Robbie Tobeck retired, but we'll be back next year and we'll be ready to put the Cardinals back in their place :)

Yeah, GBA got some remarkable support after the release of the DS.  That's fine by me, I like my Classic NES GBA-SP >.> I wish they would have done something similar for the DS.
