@consolehaven: Sorry i didnt realize your unfunny comment was a "joke". Next time let us know when you trying to amuse us....
Alecmrhand's forum posts
@consolehaven: HA! If thats what you consider bitter and contempt , buckle up noob, its rough out on the interwebs. You should try youtube comments. Make sure you have parental supervision though....
Bored---now that is a good description...wait....its in my first sentence...
Thats about as strong an emotional i can muster, sorry-
I am a jedi, like my father's cousin's uncle's neighbor's mailman, before me.....
Wow, that guy sure made the game look boring. Strafing back and forth and killing dudes from across the map doesnt seem like it would be fun for very long. Shouldnt a heavy blaster be less accurate than that? He was picking people off from a mile away while shooting from the hip.
Im excited for this game, but so far i havent seen anything, except maybe the dog fighting, that appears especially unique.
If EA screws this game up, i will never forgive them.
That headline is weird Eddie.
"My awesomeness is really gaining steam.....says me."
Which is not exactly objective analysis.... Then the facts pop by and say...."yeah you still lose to PS4" -- Microsoft's reply--- "But Momentum!?!?!"
That is kind of silly to say and be quoted as the basis of a hard news article.
As for up 26%, that means nothing without context.
I was entertained by this piece but i feel like i was listening in to a Microsoft self affirmation exercise.
For the record...Microsoft has done a pretty great job this summer of making the XBox One look more appealing. When it comes to understanding how not to look douchey.....they still suck.
I was an every dayer for the first 6 months of Destiny but eventually the grind, and the lack of matchmaking for much of the most important content, beat me into submission. I stopped playing completely.
Then Gamespot started doing stories on all the changes coming to Destiny. I thought i would just take a look for curiosity sake, then this week i put my disc (yes, i still enjoy physical copies of games), and BLAMMO!
It pulled me back in.
Im going to give The Taken King a shot. Im a sucker, i guess.
As frustrated as i got this past spring, a few days back on my flippy speeder and i remember why i liked the game so much. Maybe its just a fling with an old flame who looks extra good as nostalgia dominates my memories...we will see.
Then again, ive said i wasnt buying "this" year's Call of Duty, 4 years in a row.....aaaaaaand.....i just preordered it.
Im the reason game companies keep getting away with pooping on us......I am ashamed.
I apologize to Lucy James for being part of the problem.
@JustinGoSka: Oh, i agree. Machinima had the bottom line responsibility to announce the financial benefits they received....BUT--
If you are Microsoft and see that Machinima is taking your money, and not announcing that its videos are, for all intents and purposes, "infomercials".....Not saying anything and allowing that dishonesty to continue makes you a willing accomplice.
Microsoft hid the lie. Thats the issue. Anything they did, or any money they paid, before Machinima began misleading the public, is not an issue. Its what Microsoft did (exactly nothing) once they saw Machinima effectively lying to its viewers.
I apologize if my initial statement was unclear. Paying Machinima to say nice things about your products is fine. Endorsement deals are common. Its what happened once it was clear Machinima was obfuscating the truth about their relationship.
