I bought the GBA version of this game at the Tokyo Pokemon Center the day after its launch, and I have found it far better than any Pokemon game since RBY. Nintendo has been watering down the basic formula for far too long, but between the focus on the Pokemon themselves, the dungeon RPG structure, and the replayability, this interests me far more than any Final Fantasy, Mario, or Zelda game ever could. But then, I spend much of my time playing ASCII-based roguelikes, so my tastes clearly run towards this type of unpretentious gameplay. However, this glitch is certainly a rather boneheaded mistake. I do wish Nintendo wouldn't provide trolls with Pokemon-bashing fodder.
