This Article is as dumb as the fact you have to install games on the PS3. This article suggest that you spend lots of money and open your valued PS3 to save yourself a couple of seconds. Gamespot needs to look into better modifications than this.
ixidfrizzixi, Assassins Creed is not a 360 port. Orange Box if anything is a PC port. There is really no difference between the two systems really. While playing both you wouldn't even notice the difference with lighting effects but close up picture comparison the 360 gets the win.
I understand what Gamespot said about the artistic work being amazing. The graphics are better than Sunshine but not by a huge margin, however the detail is sooo much better!!! EDIT: BTW I wanted to mention that I like when Gamespot does things like this.
STEALTH5000, Nintendo has those few hardcore games like Zelda and Metroid but other than that they do design for casuals like you said. Packfan104L4, Halo 3 is a game that mixes good for hardcore gamers and casuals because of the ranking and matchmaking system also the little kid yelling is not as bad and would be on every system that has an online community.
Thinking this 5 years ago would make you the village idiot!!! The Wii still needs better games though. BTW I see casuals as people who see video games like they do movies, 2 hours of fun and then enough of that game. Hardcore gamers want countless hours on their game and compare games to see which is actually worth $50-$60. Casuals will buy a bad movie game because they dont get into games enough to think its bad while a hardcore gamer knows about quality.
One thing I liked about this E3 was the interviews and demonstrations at the Gamespot studio. It was as if they were running another great episode of "On The Spot".
I thought the original PSP looked nice but its design wasnt the reason I sold mine. I think they should have just spent more time on a new hand held. The PSP 2 will probably be interesting.
