I really like this recent trend of devs exploring different styles of retro asthetics than 8/16-bit console ones.

I' sorry, but Assassins Creed Origins showed Egypt as predominantly black and brown society. There were no asians and white folk were mostly shown as antagonists. How is that inclusive? Shouldn't they shown Egypt as multicultural society, with big representations of all races if they really wanted to be inclusive?

Because F2P isn't just a business model. It's a way to design the whole game. And not every gamer wants this type of gameplay

I've seem that EASA study and I didn't find anything there like you claim there is. Plus look at how the numbers split on actual games:

http://www.casualnews.com/the-demographics-of-social-games-surprise-or-not/social_games_demographics/

Women are merely 8% of Call of Duty audience while they make 75% of Bejeweled Blit's audience, 67% of Farmville and 69% of Restaurant City. Countless other studies have shown that women would rather play casual games than typical action titles. Fact is, women are a small minority of gamers who play stuff like Assassin's Creed, so it's natural most of it's leads will be male. Just as nobody bats an eye that most causual adventure games have female protagonist

Not fully, but yes..the 48% number is very misleading. Women completely dominate casual gaming, so the only logical explanation is that among the audience of typical big budgeted AAA titles they're a lot less than %48

Except that Ubisoft has been a lot more progressive than Naughty Dog, but hey..they're paying her bills,so no complaining there's no female lead in Uncharted 4, right?

Because they want it to become open standard (which would be impossible with MS or Apple) and they want to have freedom to work, which would be impossible with Google, which only cares about connecting everything to their own advertising services and quickly discard anything that doesn't work.

From all the big tech companies only Facebook made sense for Oculous Rift. They have the money and they have proved they leave their huge acquisitions alone.

The biggest problem is marketing it as Jaffe game. I have no clue what they were thinking. PCgamers don't give a crap about him nor Twisted Metal. In reality they care far more about Interstate, which creators are the main driving force behind this project, not Jaffe. But instrad of appealing to old pcgamers that actually remember the glory of Interstate 76 they aim for the fake rep Jaffe brings.

@Mochan @DarkSaber2k I recently replayed the whole series. WC3 and especially 4 aged far better than the first two did. They're much better designed, have better missions and combat and much better AI. Not to mention their stories are superior and much better integrated into the game itself. I think you're just biased against FMV, so your hate is blinding you when it comes to actual quality of those games compared to wC1 -2
