Just tried it, no difference for me. You might be getting a bit less performance than you should. I have 290x, 4770K, and it almost never goes below 60.

I really like it, have invested a lot of hours in it. Guys it free to play, give it a shot!! Since COD has collapsed on PC, and BF4 was a massive dissapointment and still has big lag and rubberbanding issues, PS2 has been my goto PC FPS recently.

Definitely the original Rome followed closely by Medieval 2 then Empire.

Rome 2 was a disappointment but it has come a long way since launch. Shogun 2 is fantastic but it really just feels like Rome/Medieval/Empire with far less variety. I found Fall of the Samurai to be much more interesting.

did they really fix rome 2? i haven't touched it since launch.

Note really, Rome 2 is one of the most disappointing games ever. Needed 12 massive patches to even get it in a kind of playable state. The game could have used literally a year of bug testing. Even an open beta for a few months. Crowdsource testing if you are too lazy/cheap to do it yourself!

Looks pretty damn awesome. But for 100 bux, might as well go water cooling for a cleaner look and more room in the case and around your RAM. I'm rocking the h110 now and like it.

I am really, really excited for this game. Bought the early access a while ago, didnt play much till it hit Beta, then recently the big Beta patch, I'm very impressed. This easily has a chance to be one of the best, deepest games of all time.

I wouldnt expect too much, it will take a bit for the engine to reach its full potential. I especially wouldnt expect it to be a graphical powerhouse on a procedurally generated indie game, but hopefully it will show some future potential for the engine.

The newest update on the Beta looks really nice, and by June I can see this being a really fine product. This has the chance to be a really epic RPG.
