It would make sense, since it would most likely be untied to hardware, but then publishers won't be making as much money anymore. We will have to wait and see. I doubt they will allow people easily transfer their libraries.

We can't really fight it anymore. This is the way the business has become. Games will be released bare bones now at full price and we will have to purchase additional segments that should have been included. I don't really see any way to fight this system. Especially Next generation DLC. Has anyone ever read any of the new user agreements? We only have a right to lease these games, not own them. So when I am done with these games, I don't have a right to sell them. I guess it makes sense for the publisher so retailers like gamespot, don't screw them. Oh well, at least I have MMORPGS. I feel like I get my moneys worth at least.
