If so.... help! I am pretty annoyed since I have tried everything. I had open NAT on my 360 until it finally died a couple days ago (had it since launch day *sniff*). I was planning on upgrading anyway so I bought the Halo Edition 360 yesterday. Set it up the same as the old 360 which is wired with a static IP and the router still configured to use DMZ on that IP. Now my NAT says Strict. I have forwarded ports 88, 3074 and checked tons of links via Google. I have the latest firmware for the router as of today but it still hasn't helped.

If any of you have the same router with a wired connection and Open status, it would be great to see what settings you are using. Thanks in advance.

If I had to pick ONE, I would say Mass Effect because of the depth. In reality I have both preordered ;)

It really depends on what you will be doing with the 360. If you would like to download demos and play a lot of the great games before they are out, like the recent Need For Speed Pro Street, along with downloading tv shows or anything else, then the premium is a much better bet. There is a limit (I believe 50mb) for each Live Arcade game, so you can only download so many of those with the built in memory. If all you want to do is buy retail copies of games and save the games then the Arcade is all you need. My cousin doesn't have high speed or an HDTV so he just picked up the Arcade and it is perfect for him.

[QUOTE="kcpp2b"]Number one reason for any console or system should be games. End of story.legendbyname

Exactly. Games for 10 years? or Games for 5 years?

Its all about games.. why else would it last 10 years?

If the last 5 years of the consoles life is going to be games like "Ratchet and Clank 8, Metal Gear Solid 15, etc etc" then I will gladly jump ship to any new console that comes out that will offer fresh games or new ideas that make the games better.

With the speed of advances in technology right now, you CANNOT claim an electronic device is future proof, even if it is only 10 years.

Well with some of the other GC games I've played on Wii looks like they get scaled far enough back that there isn't an issue. It would be nice to have some options like that for GC. I know when I'm playing PS2 games on the PS3 there are options for full screen or stretch. Oh well, I'll try using S-Video and if that doesn't work maybe I'll dust off the old GC for a bit.

I recently rented tales of symphonia to play on the Wii, but I am having some screen size issues. I'm using widescreen and HDTV through component and it looks like the game is stretched vertically. I can't see dialog options on the top or bottom and it cuts out some of the text. I've tried changing all the options like widescreen, etc in the system settings to no avail. Short of switching to S-Video or something temporarily does anyone know of any tricks? Thanks
