@gamergath it was simple it's not Microsoft. although greedy they are it was the game companies complaining. Sony thought of it first but got smart and scrapped it as fast as it came in.
@ivanchiz relevance-the fact your talking hardware with me but don't know the basics. Why I am even entertaining this? I don't honestly know. I expected you to be confused, and that's what happens when you jump into big boy conversations. My point is simple PS4 no AMD would have cost more than the X1. Now stay with me I need to go to bed to make this meeting tomorrow. X1 cost more simply because your getting more like 300,000 servers, Microsoft Cloud, Skype, Game Exclusives, etc. and the technology they put into this. When I say technology that's more than just hardware. Like it's ability to upgrade, software, compatibility, etc. PS3 or PS4 can't be integrated with your PC without wires and the know how. Microsoft is to smart for that. PS3 or PS4 doesn't have the pull that the X1 has. Game developers prefer the 360 and most likely will the X1. PS3 or PS4 don't have the resources. Why Microsoft has Comcast, Verizon and working with D-TV. That is just some of the reason why X1 will sell out the PS4, or should I say why Microsoft will out sell Sony again. @ivanchiz did you even read what I said? I know that but plan and simple Sony wasn't going to risk another PS3 disaster. Why they looked at AMD, Nvidia wanted to much and is one of the reasons why the PS3 cost so much when it came out besides for the Blu-ray player. oh by the why Mr. Research man I minored in Computer Science and also have a degree in Networking. come harder this is child's play for me
@flyingdutchdog3 thank you my point exactly. hence why I mentioned Samsung, and LG. Sony is surviving off of there music/movie branch & well PlayStation. They don't have the capital or money anymore, hence why they even considered AMD
@ivanchiz comparing X1 to the PS4 makes them direct competitors in the gaming industry you dumbass. My point talking about wealth was the microsoft has far more resources and technology capablities. you can always upgrade how your system runs with software you dumb f*ck. Hardware yes is a big thing but is 1/4 of what makes a consoles good. So far what I see and know X1 has this on lock. Far more exclusives aka better games, better shooters. Hell PS3 had God of War hands down one of the best games ever. But 360 had Halo out sold Killzone 5:1 and Gears of War.
