to some extent, what the OP says is myth... LINK...
in the end, it comes down to sheer numbers... MS OS is a bigger target because it has the largest (by far) installed base... and a successfully exploited target results in significantly greater yeild (number of infected computers)...
also, no one has mentioned that MS OS runs on an open hardware platform (the PC) where Apple OS runs on a closed hardware platform... by using an open platform, MS must open portions of its code up for developers, Apple does not... the result is the plethora of hardware options available to you in the PC world, that you don't see withApple, but the result is also increased vulnerability...
he should pay what he agreed (and you should NOT have provided the OS)... next time... write it all down in an agreement as has been suggested, including... he makes the downpament to cover the cost of the parts, BEFORE you buy the parts... he gets the finished product AFTER he makes the final payment...
your friend Chris is a moron, and so are you if you date this girl... she's taking advantage of Chris and will take advantage of you... shounds like she thrives on the attention and control...
you can't really think that hiding a relationship with this girl from your friend is a good long term strategy for a successful relationship - he will find out... and if a long term relationship is not what you are after, why did you even bring this up... :roll:
