it was more commonly called TruForm about 15 years ago. Problem was developers had code the games separately to use it. It never became a part of any official API, and it did hurt performance quite abit. Basically it was never used until when the hardware was fast enough when tessellation became a standard in API's.

Now Now childern the consoles(Xbox 360/PS3) were outclassed even when they were first released. So quit saying you the best of the best of Pc to beat the consloes.
