I bolded the part that says from and to, meaning I haven't just listened to them. It means that I have listened to them, other's that are similar and others that aren't. I just named those.

H8sMikeMoore

You just named those because they're the ones that came to mind, because they're the ones you've listened to. Had you actually listened to any decent rap at all you'd have named the Roots, Jurassic 5, Public Enemy, Binary Star, Wu Tang, Ohmegga Watts.... but you didn't. You named the common mainstream staples of bad music from which most generalisations like the ones you listed are gathered.

I bolded the one's you listed that I have listened to, I didn't like them. I believe the Wu Tang were pretty popular around the late 90's, atleast that is when I heard them. Also, it is your opinion that the one's I listed are bad music, I would agree. But appearantly they are making lots of money from people who are buying their products, so someone must like them. I don't why I have to listen to every single rap artists to know I don't like it. I have listened to far too much of it in my opinion. You like it? That's fine, I don't. That's my opinion and your opinion.

Here's why. SAYING YOU DON'T LIKE AN ENTIRE GENRE OF MUSIC IS FREAKING STUPID.

Id have to disagree here. I dont like any pop punk.

Not because I have a vendetta against it, just because melodically speaking I havent heard a band that impressed me.

I would say I dont like rap, but I do actually like some, however its a very small amount of songs I like.

you should go listen to a tribe called quest, organized konfusion, the pharcyde, or wu-tang

Are you playing with us?

Honestly, i'm a rap fan, and i cant stand Tupac. If you ask me he's everything wrong with rap. Every song is to do with Thug life, gangs, shootings, stabbings, ghettos. He's only so beloved because he was one of the first artists to start singing/rapping about the issues so many african americans had to face, and most importantly, because he died. Would Nirvana be so loved today had Kobain, or would they be just another grunge band like the Pixies?

I guess you must be slightly wrong since he's the highest selling rap artist in the history of the game.
