It would take an officer 5 seconds to run her plates on CAD, and he/she would get a picture of the owner.

Even if the officer for whatever reason didn't have CAD, they would've either had their dispatcher run it over the radio, or detained the woman until she either produced ID or until she could be fingerprinted to determine who she is.

If you don't identify yourself after you're suspected of a crime, and you have no identification, but the police have reason to believe you've done something, they can and will detain you until they determine who you are. Once you're suspected of a crime with reasonable suspicion you're required to identify yourself.

Keep them off the front lines and I don't see how it will be an issue.
