This is like the US blaming guns and video games for its violence: If you want to change anything, even if it's perception, you have to address the root of the problem first.
"However, this type of legislation was already ruled unconstitutional and is a flawed approach. Empowering parents, not enacting unconstitutional legislation, is the best way to control the games children play."
Couldn't have said it better myself. I'm just sick of piss poor parents blaming everything in the world except the true culprit: Their utter lack of parenting skills. TV and video games are a bad substitute for parental affection and NEVER serve as a viable babysitter.
@mrboone01 @-HaloHitman- I would refer to these people as the mentally insane ;) Though I think the statue is disturbing, I would never interfere with anyone's right to buy one.
@sam628 So...you're saying it took Nintendo 7 years to produce something on par graphically? Oh, slightly better? Sure sure...until the next console generation hits and Nintendo is left in the dust once again.
@tightwad34 @KliqueUgh Fair enough. But people will still kill if it's with guns, swords, bombs, planes etc. and gun laws only disarm those who obey laws.
@johnnyauau Destroying guns is just as stupid. People will kill if their sick enough to kill, regardless of the weapon used. If you're going to fix anything, you need to fix people.
