Mixed reviews? It has pretty much received universal acclaim. It's a fantastic game with solid gameplay and an intriguing story. I've played through it several times (Director's Cut twice) and I love just as much everytime. I'd say it's worth your money.
It should be noted that I've only played it on PC, so I can't really say if the Wii U gamepad adds that much to the gameplay. Either way, it's a great game and I'm sure it's great on the Wii U as well.

So you're saying that the form factor has no importance at all? Only the buttons matter? It's not just bulkier, it's an entirely different shape. Most traditional controllers are shaped the way they are becuase it's a form factor that works. I'm not saying that the Wii U gamepad is awful, it's a huge step forward compared to the Wii remote and nunchuck, which in my opinion were pretty darn awful in most cases. It's just not as good as a normal controller.
To each his own. Some people prefer the gamepad and others prefer a traditional controller. It's good that there are options, don't you think? If playing with a normal controller makes the game more enjoyable for some people, then what's the problem? No need to criticise people because of their preference, as you did in your first post.
your going to buy a 300$ console so you can play all ther games with a peripheral?

I purchased a Wii U so I could play some fantastic games. Being stuck with the gamepad is just something I have to live with. It's not the same as a normal controller. It's bulky and while it's fairly comfortable to hold, it's not the same a normal controller.
For me, connection between the gamepad and the console is stable within a 4-5 meter radius. After that is starts to get choppy. It should be noted that I have concrete walls, which is a real wireless signal killer. Could work better for you depending on the materials in your walls/floors/ceilings.
For me it was generally Tekken 2 or 3. Years ago of course but that was about the only series I got into pretty heavily. I've just kinda stopped playing fighters since then.
Tekken 2 and 3 are pretty damn awesome. Tekken Tag is probably the best one, though. I've spent a lot of time with all of them. Tried Tekken 6, but it wasn't the same... at all. They've changed the fighting way too much. It's like every character is covered with Flubber goo, because they bounce around like crazy. Too much bounce in the modern Tekken games.
