I have The Orange Box and completed all 5 games on the disc without any problems. Half-Life 2 is a great series and has nothing to do with the problems you encountered.

The only problem I can see is the overheating issue with both the power supply and the console itself. Make sure both are well ventilated.

If MS makes a 360 console with an internal bluray drive then it would alienate the existing owners and it wouldn't be fair on us the consumer.

Gears 3 has to be on DVD9 otherwise how many people are going to pay for a 360 console with an internal bluray drive ?

Camapaign - Halo 2 is longer and arguably better.

Multiplayer - Halo 3 wins hands down for many reasons. It is the most refined and improved multiplayer experience. It just needs more maps at the moment.

Have you heard if the Falcon 360 gets the 3 red lights ??
