A ridiculous story and truckloads of great puzzles.

Well, nothing really new here. A ridiculous story (best in the series, but still ridiculous) and truckloads of puzzles. Don't get me wrong, I like Layton and I always look forward to the next game in the series, but I'm starting to feel like they could skip the story and the cut scenes and just give me a list with the puzzles to solve. I like the voice acting and the music and all the different characters you interact with, but it drives me nuts that a game with that many clever puzzles and with a protagonist that's supposed to be clever, continually have stories with a final solution that is so far fetched and ludicrous. That being said, the puzzles are still excellent and varied, the hint system works really well and the bonus puzzles are a challenge as always. I'm looking forward to playing the next game too.
