PS2 port with some nice touches for the Wii

User Rating: 7 | Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 WII

When people think about soccer games on Wii they always imagine that is a cheap ps2 port and it doesnt deserve any credits at all but this one is kinda different, at least that's what I think.

PES was the best soccer game until 2008, when they officially entered the 7th generation of consoles, since then the struggle to catch FIFA has been really hard on them. In the Wii version it's a completely different story, PES has always been better even being a PS2 Port, the features added to this version make it an old great soccer game with good new features, which seem to be enough to make an 7 out of 10 game.

Graphics are just like PS2 ones with a little bit more of polish, gameplay is awesome, you can play by pointing or even with wiimote only.

The music is really nice to, nothing from other world but serves it purpose and game sounds are quite nice and envolving to.

We can play exhibition, cup's (including "Copa Libertadores"), UEFA Champions League, Master League (old but gold), online (works nice but it's not really easy to find players) and a unique Wii mode, Champions Road, where you go playing games against teams from different areas of the globe, each time you defeat one there's the possibility to improve the team by getting a player of the team you defeated. And it goes on and on until you beat every one out there. The edit mode in the game is awesome, you can create up to 18 new teams and there's a lot to do, and it's very easy to work on.

Like I said in the deck, it's a PS2 Port but with a good array of game modes that make it even today, a good soccer game.
