User Rating: 8.8 | World Soccer Winning Eleven 6 PS2
Winning Eleven 6 International is best soccer game on any platform right now, that's for sure. GAMEPLAY = 9 The gameplay in this game looks fantastic, the soccer simulation in this game is a lot better then in FIFA 2003. GRAPHICS = 8 The graphics looks great, because if consider you can customise your own players, they still look nice, no matter what face shape, face size, hair, hair color, etc.. you put on the player. In other soccer games where you could customise your own players they always looked weird, that usually doesn't happen in this game. SOUND = 8 The sound also looks great, when you score the fans go wild there and a good sound overall. The commentary looks good, but one time the team who was playing against me kicked a free kick over the crossbar and the commentary said it hit the sidenet, I just think they should have fixed this silly problem. Problems: - That problem in the commentary I talked about in SOUND should've been fixed. - There is no option you can choose how rigid is the referee. - In slide tackles, even when you didn't hit the player, the REF. calls a foul. - When you change the formation of a team, you have to load the formation every time you turn on the system, there should have been a way where you could save it and don't have to load every time you turn on the system. - One time I was playing against my friend, he kicked the ball just in the penalty area to score and ''THE BALL WENT THROUGH THE GOALKEEPER'S HANDS!!!!!'' I EVEN CHECKED IF IT ACTUALLY DID IN THE SLOW MOTION REPLAY AND IT DID!!!!! HOW IN EARTH COULD THIS HAPPEN IN A PROFESSIONAL SOCCER GAME LIKE THIS????????? This is why instead of rating this game a 9.0 or more, I rated 8.8. Good things about this game: - When you score a really good goal you can SAVE IT and show to your friends. - There is a TRAINING MODE for you to practice your skills through FREE TRAINING which is your hole team against the reserved goalkeeper in your team, you can go in the UMBRO TRAINING to practice free kick shoots, free kick long passes, dribbling, etc..., and there is TUTORIAL to teach you how to do stuff in the game. - It has up to 9 secret teams and a lot of secret players as well. - A lots of different Cups and Leagues. - A game you can keep playing until FIFA 2004 comes out. Overall: Even with these silly problems I talked about, this makes a great game for soccer fans. If you are a soccer fan, you would be fool to not pick this game up, because it is a GREAT game that deserves your attention.
