Truly, one of the worst games i've played in years.
The next good thing is...the stealth is...ok....
Ok, now onto the bad. Brace yourself. Almost every single thing about this game is broken. The graphics are abysmal -like a fairly average PS2 game. It's amazing how they managed to pull that one off, but they succeeded in doing so.
The stealth is by far the best thing of the game mechanics, but even that is shallow. The A.I is as dumb as they come. The 'leveling up' system (if you can call it that) is just lifting a couple of weights or punching a punching bag a couple of times. The fighting is light weight and frustrating.
Then we get to the story, hahaha., oh, it's brilliant. I don't know how they got it wrong, as they should be technically just following the brilliant first season of the show. Most of the time it does follow the show but then it vears off into the rediculious. Our protagonist is undercover, so you'd assume undercover means no one should know, yes? He even says at the beginning that if he gets caught he'll be killed. So why is it every time he decides to pull out his recorder to take notes, there is a load of people right by him? He's even done it next ot security guards!
Even Micheal is abit of a pleb. The scene in the show where he meets Lincon for the first time by the fence is on here, only it's been tweaked a little; Lincon is halfway down the courtyard and Micheal pretty much shouts at the top of his voice "im going to break you out of here!" What?! what the hell is going on in this game?!
The developers have cut corners like no other aswel. There was abit in the game were i was opening a vent; to do this i had to open it up by taking out the screws. I opened the first one, no problem; then he moves onto the next screw -only he doesn't actually move to the next screw! There is loads of these cut-corner bits in the game, and it just makes the game look even worse.
Graphics: The worst i've seen of this gen, next to Superman Returns. Truly awful. 4
Sound: Saving grace!! It's the music from the show, and it is actually nice to hear! oice acting from the actors is abit naff though! 7
Gameplay: There's fighting, there's sneaking, there's leveling up, there's mini games. And it's all broken!!
Sh*te Box: Everything is crap -minus the soundtrack.
Value: Get it given as a gift - £5
Overall: Truly this is from the bottom of my heart; this game is awful. Im a massive fan of the show -hence why i bought it, and even i hated it. Knowing from review's it was gonna be poor i went in with an optimistic frame-of-mind. I was bitterly wrong. Avoid at all cost.
