Good platforming and intense fights coupled with great story is what you get from Sands of Time.
Presentation: 8/10
This game has one of the greatest stories I've seen in a game that's not an RPG, and no wonder it will be released as movie very soon (next month, as i'm writing). Of course, I'm not going to retell the story now, you can check on Wikipedia or play it yourselves. At the first half, the story was good, but definitely, not great. The second half became so damn good, and I loved the ending.
The menus are simple and slick, the art and loading screens are good.
Visuals: 8/10
The graphics are great, the environment gives the perfect feeling of Persia. The character models are good as well, but could have been more detailed. The environment became too repetitive at times. Light effects are really great, but I think that the game was a bit too ''story-book style'', too bright and colorful. But it is okay as it is too.
Sound: 8/10
The music in this game is simply great, it sets the atmosphere greatly. The ending piece was especially great. The voice acting is good, but it felt too quiet at times, and sometimes it was unclear what the main characters are mumbling. Sound effects are nice too.
Gameplay: 9/10
This is the greatest part of this game. The gameplay is divided in two actions: platforming and fighting. The platforming mostly is the easy part, but sometimes you just had to die several times to discover your way. That's where sands of time comes into the play. You can turn time several seconds back, to survive and continue playing. Of course, this is limited, otherwise, the game would be too easy. The platforming is great because of highly responsive controls and varied moves Prince can pull off. The other thing is fighting, which sometimes was very, very challenging. You can also use sands of time to slow down time and petrify your enemies. The game also had several puzzles, most of them were used towards the end of the game, and some were really challenging. The only flaw in the gameplay was the occasional frustration during the fights.

All I want to say is - I recommend this game to everyone, who loves action adventure and platforming games.
