Back in 1998 for the PC there was a game called Powerslide, it wasn't any thing special and still isn't, but one thing this game had going for it was that it was very fun. The gameplay is well done, the way the cars handle in this game is also well done. The games environments go from desert tracks to icy tracks to underground sub stations to ruined cities. My favorite track is probably this one were you race thru the canyons and thru ought the race there are some big jumps to tackle. There is a lot of stuff I like about this game, how fun it is, how well the car handling is and the tracks themselves, as well as the cars themselves, but one thing I didn't like about this game is that there's not enough tracks, and in my opinion the carrier mode is a bit short. Well, other then those few complaints I pretty much loved Powerslide thru and thru, and though it isn't any thing special of a game, I would still recommend it to anyone who loves Flatout, Dirt or MotorStorm... Especially that last one.
Overall, Powerslide is a well done racer with fun racing, tracks, as well as good atmosphere. Like I said before, it's nothing special, but it's still a great game.
