A long forgotten RPG that had potential.

Popful Mail follows the story of Mail, an elf bounty hunter looking to reel in the dough. The graphics for the game were impressive and had an anime-style feeling to them. You have 3 characters to choose from when you play and you can switch between them during the story. There's Mail, Tatto, and Gaw. Each character has their own unique abilities. Mail specializes in weapons such as swords, daggers, etc. Tatto uses staffs and each staff has a different spell that can be used. Gaw has fire breath, claws, tail swipes, etc. These must be purchased in shops along with armor. The bosses were quite challenging and some parts required you to think. The really unique part about this game is the save and load features. If you are getting whipped in a boss battle, you can load from your last save point and try again. Giving you multiple attempts at beating bosses if you are having problems. A really great and fantastic RPG for the Sega CD.
