The amusement wears off very quickly. Buggy, boring, and basic.

I was looking forward to playing poker with Brock Sampson and Claptrap. It's a great idea and the cast is what gives this game the extra point. It gets another half point if you like collecting extra weird heads for Borderlands 2.

However the game itself is a really poorly made poker game. There are only two different types of games, and while I haven't played it for very long, I don't think you unlock others.

I thought it would be cool to have the different themes for the game but the design is badly planned: for example, the venture bros cards have the suit in the middle which goes off screen half the time so you can't really tell what's in your own hand. The different players don't play very differently from each other. Their banter is amusing the first couple of times you hear it but I've only played a few tournaments and I get the feeling I've already heard everything they have to say.

Maybe some of it I haven't heard all the way through because the game keeps freezing. Seriously, I haven't had a game freeze up this much on me since New Vegas; it's that bad. Here's the thing, New Vegas is a huge open world game with a bunch of stuff going on at once(not that it excuses how many times it crashed on me), this is a poker game. Usually it comes back from the freeze within 10 seconds but a couple of times (mind you I only got it last night) I had to give the console the ol' hard shut down.

I didn't think there was any way I was wasting $10 when I was downloading this game but it's not even worth the $5 it's going for on the PC. I know it seems really tempting but do yourself a favor and avoid this one. They could've added the cast of Family Guy, Boondocks, and Katamari and it would've still been a terrible game.
