I remembered playing this game as a kid and it was the best. the basics are that you fight trainers to be the pokemon master. besides fighting, there are minigames that you take place as pokemon and try to win. There is also other stuff as well as taking quizzes about Gold and Silver for the Game Boy. You also can take the academy to learn the basics if your new. On fighting, you pick stadiums that have conditions like using level 5 pokemon or if it involves weight or the pokemon your using [i.e baby or legendary pokemon.] You can also fight gym leaders as well as regular trainers. You can also fight people from the Game Boy games like Your rival from Gold and Silver and Red from Red, Blue, and Yellow. Overall this game is the best and it is better than Pokemon Battle Revolution in my opinion and I loved this game when I was a kid and you should try it and it is really fun
