Another great Pokemon game!!!

Pokemon Emerald is another great Pokemon game. All of the hardcore players and people that have played the game already know the drill. You catch `em all & try to be the League Champion and that's pretty much it. No. Not really. You have more secret pokemon to catch. The story may still be the same, not much of a difference from the other Pokemon games; you go through different towns beating Gym Leaders & do a little errands here and there. Of course, there's some "bad guys" that will try to get in your way. The usual rival is now a girl (not really a rival but a big surprise there). Once again, you choose from one of the three Pokemons in the beginning of the game. Once chosen you can now start your journey through Hoenn Region. Battles are still the same; you can either fight, switch Pokemon, use item from your bag or run. There's the new old dual Pokemon battle were you have two Pokemon battling at the same time. Doesn't make a lot of difference but it more experience. You gain experience by battling random Pokemon on grasses or battling Pokemon trainers which is the only way to gain level up (except for the Rare Candy you might get). What makes Pokemon Emerald fun is that there are a lot of secret Pokemon to capture. After beating the Elite Four and the Champion, you can start the game with all your Pokemons and items. And there are more places to explore and different items to get. For one, you can catch the infamous Groudon, Kyogre and Rayquaza. There are hidden islands as well. You can also catch Pokemon from the "old" region. Bottom line, this is one great game for newcomers and hardcore fans.
