As with Pokemon Yellow, and Blue I also have alot of fond memories devoting time to playing Red in my childhood. I think as a kid I spent more time playing Blue however I owned Red as well and I can recall really loving the pokemon that appear in the wild much better in Red than I did in Blue. Pokemon Red was the catalyst to an ever growing series today known as Pokemon, one of which has spawned 649 Pokemon. Whenever I hear the words "Charizrd", "Pallet Town", or "Mewtwo" I always get a little nostalgic and end up thinking of this. During its time nobody really paid much attention to things such as graphics as this was during a period that video gaming still hadn't become quite as developed as it is today. Looking back on it though I think those old school graphics and style of gameplay are part of its charm
