2 Adventures, 250 Pokemon To Collect, Numerous Fun Side Plots, Need I Say More?

User Rating: 10 | Pokemon Silver Version GBC
Pokemon Gold and Silver on the GBC is one of my favorite pokemon games in the franchise. Sadly, both of my copies have a corrupt save system (Some copies of Gold/Silver/Crystal have corrupt save files, meaning that you get your data erased every time you save and turn off the game), but I still had fun playing these games, regardless. All of the things I mentioned in my review on Gold are present here, so there's no need to rehash the details. The only major differences are the kinds of pokemon that appear (i.e: Donphan only in Silver and Usuring only in Gold) and the fact that you have to go all the way to Pewter City to get the Rainbow Wing to get to Ho-oh at the top of Tin Tower in Ecruteak City. In the meantime, a monk will block the stairs to the second floor until you have the Rainbow Wing in your possession. Pokemon Gold and Silver are fantastic Pokemon games that are worth playing again and again. They are timeless classics.
