A great remake for an already great game!

It's as good as the original with some tweeks to the graphics and storyline. But, that's also a bad thing in some ways. For fans who played through this game already, it might not be a joy to go through again. It's the same game as Blue and Red; same storyline, same Pokemon, same everything. The only differances is they added some islands with Kanto Pokemon so you can catch them too, and an extra and some what unwanted second chapter with Team Rocket after you beat the Elite Four. Not much has changed in the last ten years since the original.

But hey, it's still a Pokemon game. Nintendo knows it's already popular in Japan, since the series has an amusment park built after it, so they already know it will sell in America too. It is an overall good game, filled with an hidden chapter after the main storyline so players have more to look forward to, but other that that it's the same.

It may be a good start for kids who are just getting into the Poke Hype, but for people who already know the game and storyline; I would go straight for Ruby or Diamond.
