A remake of the classic Pokemon Red Version for gameboy color, i found this game instantly bringing me back to my childhood. The graphics upgrade and slight story line variance was a refreshing addition to this game. I was also very pleased to see that they did not change overly to much in the story line as well, it was very nice for those of us who played the original games. With the addition of some new optional areas game freak did a awesome job on this game. One thing worth noting if anything is that this game is made on the same format, although heavily modified, as Pokemon Ruby and Safire making it backwards compatible to its predecessors. Very good job on this game by Nintendo and The Pokemon Company.

    Just when you thought Pokemon were dead.
