A remake of a great game.

It's time for the Pokemon LeafGreen Review! For the GBA.

Like Pokemon Pearl, I have not played Pokemon FireRed, however, they are both the same game, regardless of the different Pokemon. So whatever score I give for this game will be the same for FireRed.

The two games are basically remakes of Pokemon Red and Blue. I don't either, but I own Pokemon Yellow Special Pikachu Edition, which is the third game in the series, for the Game Boy.

So you wake up and try to leave buy Professor Oak stops you and tells you to get a Pokemon. You have a choice of a Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur. Your rival will pick the one that is more type-powerful. After your first battle, you move on. You have to go to Viridian City, where a person will ask you to deliver a package to Oak. After doing that, you go back to Oak and he'll give you a Pokedex. And now your journey begins.

If you played Pokemon Red or Blue, or any previous Pokemon games, you know what to expect. This game takes place in Kanto, the first Pokemon region.

So yeah....the game is basically the same formula you played before. However, new features have been added. You can now use a Wireless Adapter to play wirelessly as well as the Link Cable. There is also a Union Room where you can chat and play dumb-downed Pokemon Battles.

The graphics have been improved of course. They look much more smoother than Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire.

The controls worked fine, but that's not really a factor in judging these Pokemon RPG games. Really, they aren't really special.

So now, for new features. After you beat Blaine, the 7th Gym leader in Cinnabar Island, Bill will offer you to go to Island 1. It's a small sidequest, and it will also let you trade with Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, and Colesseum(Gamecube). These are the only way to get all of the Pokemon(up to that time.)

Pokemon LeafGreen was a great game. Even though it's the same game we all known and loved, it's still very fun.

This game gets a 8.5 out of 10 with the title of Great!
