Terribly unbalanced difficulty curve.

Good

- nothing, unless you are a Pokemon super fan. The graphics are smooth and cute, if that's your thing.

Bad

- the game is stupidly easy before the Elite 4, which made me skip all wild battles. Why would I make the game even more easier for myself if all the gym leaders were such push overs? However, by the end game, Cynthia becomes extremely difficult because of this. Now I am forced to either quit out of the Elite 4 and grind 10 levels, or catch specific pokemon and teach specific moves to counter her. Both of which are extremely time consuming and not fun. I would have rather have done that along the way. A good RPG would give you hints about what level you should be at and what type of pokemon you would need to tackle the final battle, but here, none was given. The difficulty spike at the end is unacceptable. I was so bored for 90% of the game, but since I was more than half way through, i forced myself through it just to say I finished it. I was already not enjoying it. Then the sudden difficulty spike forcing me to go back and grind random fights to level up or hunt specific pokemon or find specific moves? NO F-ing THANKS! Got no patience for this crap.

- The dialogue is bland and has no depth.

- No memorable characters, and the plot is cliche and again, has no depth. The scenario is predictable and boring. Same dumb organization trying to take advantage of pokemon to rule the world for the billionth time. ZERO creativity!
