New Region, new pokemon .
I found this game to be a bit hard (even though pokemon games are supposed to be surprisingly easy for an rpg). You have a rival whom you have to fight in order to progress, and their pokemon is an immediate counter to whomever your starter pokemon is.
The game is pretty short, spanning about ~20 hours on your first playthrough, and an additional 10 more if you opt to go to the bonus dungeons/areas.
I really liked the enhanced sprites and graphics to this game. The cities are expansive for a DS game, the music is decent, and the pokemon sprites are really nice to look at. Once you beat the elite 4 and region champion, as in every pokemon game there are additional areas, and you can even get previous generations in a certain area.
In conclusion, pokemon white is a solid game in a new area with new pokemon to catch.
