This Tower defense game is a hard one to put down!
Peashooters (shoots 1 pea pod to damage Zombies)
Chompers (Eats a zombie one tile in front of it, instantly killing it)
Walnut (A hard shell to put in front of weak plants to act as a shield)
All said and done i believe there are 42 plants in the game. Some are simple upgrades, but most have completely different affects that you'll need to use as you progress through the levels. You'll need to use certain plants to fight on the lawn, in water, in fog and even on the roof of your house. All plants require a certain amount of Sun Energy, which you mainly obtain by planting sunflowers. These will grow orbs of sun, collect enough and you can plant more powerful plants!
The main mode is adventure mode, where you will fight wave after wave of zombie attacks. But don't think that you're done after you beat it. There are many many things to do afterwords. You can
Grow plants in the Zen garden, which you can then sell and by new plants and gardening supplies.
Play Survival mode
Play dozens of Mini games
And even play co-op or head to head with a friend
This game cannot be played over X-box live. Multiplayer is played on the same console with two controllers. One player is Plants and the other player is Zombies. As zombies gather brain power (which falls from the sky or can be grown from graves, just like sunflowers) and can use most of the zombies seen in adventure mode. It's really a lot of fun, but the plants do have a slight advantage in that they shoot constantly, while the zombies have to walk up to the plants before they can attack.
This is a cute, fun, addicting game. Tower defense games have been all the rage lately. And this one does a great job in making sure that things don't get stale. I believe you can buy this game for 800 Microsoft points now(down from 1200) and that is a very good deal, considering all the things that you'll get out of this great game.
