This game is a surprise, with 40+ plants to beat 20+ types of crazy zombies and a wide range of other minigames.
The gameplay is to fight off a variety of many kinds of crazy zombies with various abilities with over 40 types of plants, with each a special ability, such as able to produce sun for your expensive plants, being defensive or even able to explode and beat up all the zombies in an area. With 5 worlds with each world a theme, 10 levels with each one a unique feature plus special features like graves able to summon zombies as well as restricting plants at night, fog and a pool to add up the challenge. Over the 50 levels in Adventure mode, that is not all, but as you progress through the game, you will be able to get new plants, money for seed slots, upgrade plants, buy things at the Shop, get the Zen Garden and earn minigames and puzzles. Right after you finished Adventure Mode, you can replay at a harder difficulty level, purchase more things, get special Zen Garden plants and finally, you will get much more minigames and challenging puzzles plus a Survival Mode to challenge through the very most difficult levels of each theme. The Minigame mode offers a variety of challenges like playing a level with modifiers, plant-headed zombies and using special weapons like a hammer to beat up the zombies. And if you do not like losing, a last line of defense like a lawn mower, or a roof cleaner per row will zoom in and eliminate all zombies corresponding to that row.
The sound and music is really, amazing as it fits through the theme of daytime, nighttime and the sound effect is really, quite funny in a good way.
The graphics are really, again amazing since the graphics look funny your lawn is quite beautiful and you can easily know the health of the zombies and plants by looking at their appearence like when zombies lose their arm, having their appearence look damaged than their original appearence and each plant has a very significant personality.
This is basically one of the best games I've played, with over 20 types of plants, 40 types of zombies plus a boss zombie that controls a massive Zombot shell and a huge variety of regular levels, minigames and puzzles.
