Similar Games...HL2,Doom3Quake4? do you guys have a clue?

Planetside isnt everyones cup of tea. It isnt like any other FPS you'll have played in the sense that shooting someone in the foot with a sniper rifle will do the same damage if you'd shot them in the head.

Also, depending how good your pc is will mean the diference between getting owned and owning. The game is nearly 3 years old bar recent patches, it hogs your resources like a mofo.

Also, unless you live beside the servers, you will almost certainly have issues with lag.

The game itself can be alot of fun to play, as long as you're with a good group of players and use teamspeak or ventrilo...as the built in voice software will most likely crash your pc.

The there are the "tweaks" the dev crew have made on SoE's orders, seems more like they are trying to remove all chances of having fun...and if you complain your account getts banned.
