This Pitfall port for the Wii is definatly not worth another buy, its the same thing with just worse controls.

User Rating: 5.5 | Pitfall: The Big Adventure WII
Pitfall has offfered us great games in the past, from the first up the Big Adventure for the PS2. Well its here, and for the Wii, and i just like to start of by saying this game is crap. Its not really worth a second buy, its the same thing. Theres nothing special about this game. The controls are worse, the graphics the same, the story, the everything. Since the Wii is nothing special this game was just horrible. If it was on maybe the PS3 then this game would get an 8 not a 5.5. Although there is some hidden fun in there every once and awhile, this game is still just poor.

The gameplay is simple, move the nunchuck analog to move, A to jump, swing the nunchuck to hit, and just go biserk on both the wii and nunchuick remotes to swim fast. These controls are just poor, and very very simplistic theres no challenge like in the PS2 version. The gameplay at times can be fun though and the good sound effects give you some funny moments. But other than those rather short good moments this game fails to offer lots of fun, just some fun.

From a graphicial perspective this game is rather good looking. WIth carttoon like graphics, also displayed in Jack and Daxter and Ratchet and Clank, this game looks great. The shading and color textures work well and the good voice acting gives thiis game some flare.

The story is the exact same and if you havent played the first, then. You play as the pitfall guy and your plane crash lands while your on your way to find artifacts, you must find all the crew memebers and find the plane, and finally find the plane.

All in all this port offers nothing at all and if you sstill have it on your PS2 just plug the PS2 back in and play the PS version
