Pikmin is a great, fun, and an unusual game. The Gameplay is good and works well with the game. Sometimes it can be a little hard to direct a who crowd of Pikmin without losing a couple in the water on bridges, but this may be of a design as to intentionally make it more complicated to command large groups of Pikmin. The graphics in Pikmin are awesome; especially considering the game was released in 2001. The characters in the game such as Oliver, the Pikmin, and the enemies all look great. They have more of a cartoon styled look to them. The environments are what really show off the games graphical prowess. The environments are near photo realistic and look tremendous. The game’s sound is good, with different music for each landing site and good in game noises for the Pikmin and the enemies of the Pikmin. The game is of decent length. You have 30 days to collect enough parts to get your ship up to take off capabilities. So if you fail your first time through you can replay the game and try to get enough of the right parts to make it back after your life support runs out. Overall Pikmin is a really fun game that you will defiantly enjoy and be challenged by almost all gamers. I would defiantly recommend this game to pretty much anyone who is a die-hard or even a casual video game fan.
