User Rating: 7.5 | Shashin de Kakutou! Photo Fighter X DS
Ever wanted to be in a fighting game. Ever wanted to throw a fireball at your friends, fight trough hordes of people, or preform a epic finishing move. Photo Dojo somewhat has you covered. The only big draw back is the lack of features and decent multiplayer. But whats there can be very enjoyable, as long as you have imagination.

Story:
None whatsoever.

Gameplay:
The game is a 2D fighting game. First, you make you own fighter by taking pictures and recording sounds. After that you must give him a fighting style, then you're good to go. There are two modes in Photo Dojo, single player and vs. mode. The single player is killing 100 enemies, and that's about it. The vs. mode is awful. Two players must share one DSi. There is no DS wireless or download play. Contolling the character like this is awkward. after you play those two modes, that's about it. You could make more fighters (up to 8), but all you can play is those two modes. But really, for $2, it's not that bad of a deal. As long as you have imagination, you will get a couple of enjoyable hours out of this.

Graphics:
Mostly depends on the pictures you take. Even the background is a picture you take with your camera.

Sound:
Again, mostly depends on what sounds you record. If you listen hard enough, you might hear some generic, unnoticeable music.

Overall:
It is a good game. I did enjoy it. But I can see how it might not be for everyone. Still, it holds up in the end.

Score: 7.6/10
