One of the most addicting console games of all time comes to Xbox and remains that way.

I can sum up this game in one little word...."addicting". I haven't played a game this addicting other than CounterStrike for the PC. I remember when I first picked up PSO for the ill-fated Dreamcast (which I miss, by the way). I put it in and started playing. 10 hrs. later, I finally went to the bathroom. I called in sick to work the next day. I don't even think I ate that night. My point is that I am warning you. If you buy this game, it can consume alot of your time. I am just glad my girlfriend was away at college most of the time. PSO is a action/RPG, if you have been living under a rock for the last few years and don't know. Basically, you create a character from one of the three classes available. Hunters, Rangers, and Forces all have their own strengths and weaknesses. Once you create a character to your liking, you can hop online (or stay offline, if you so choose) and start playing. You can then play the game with up to 3 other people and try to gain levels and rare items. After playing the game for over 300 hrs. on DC, and 40 hrs. on Xbox, I know what I am talking about. This game is basically a dungeon crawler that will have you trying to get to that next level before you go to bed. It also is an item hunt. Half of your time online will be spent trading or trying to aquire rare items, spells, and/or weapons. You can play it offline, too. But, that is only fun the first time you go through the game. Not so much afterwards. I won't go on forever here about how good this game is. I know it's an old game. I know the graphics are average for an Xbox game. I know they didn't add anything new to this version. But, you have to look at the core gameplay here. What you have is maybe the most addicting game I have ever played, you can play it online and it never ends. Even after you beat it, you can try it on a harder difficulty and get more XP for each monster you kill. If you like these types of games, go get this game now. You will love it. Just be sure to warn anyone that is important in your life, that you might be disappearing for awhile
