Peter Jackson's King Kong: The Official Game of the Movie for the Sony Playstation 2 is a movie made into a video game, but this movie into a video game came out before the movie came into the theaters. The story of Peter Jackson's King Kong is base on the 1933's King Kong, as Carl Denham; who is a film director, Jack Driscoll; a writer, whom write screenplays for Carl, Ann Darrow; a former actress, Captain Englehorn; the captain on the ship, Jimmy; a sailor and Benjamin Hayes; a World War I veteran goes to a mysteries island call Skull Island, in which Carl Denham found a piece of paper of it's location. The game starts out when you as Jack Driscoll in a small boat heading towards the shore of Skull Island. During the journey on Skull Island, you encounter creatures and dinosaurs like the Venatosaurus (a decent from the Raptor family) and the Vastatosaurus Rex (a decent from the Tyrannosaurus Rex family) to name a few. You eventually meet Kong as you go find Ann Darrow, escape from the danger of Skull Island, and switch from Jack's view to Kong's view, only at some point in the game. At the end, you play as Kong where you end up on to of the Empire State Building, where you destroy the biplane before you died. The gameplay is like other first person shooter, where you find your out of the level and like Turok, the creatures on Skull Island attack each other, if they are two different types. The graphics are not best as some dinosaur look blocky than other dinosaur game made in this generation, The sound is just the same as other shooting game, that has dinosaur in it. Overall Peter Jackson's King Kong: The Official Game of the Movie is an okay game with no other game modes to play and leave you thinking is just another dinosaur game to play with.
Gameplay: 7- Just like another first person shooter with dinosaur running around and playing as Kong doesn't seem to interesting as you smash your way to find Ann and kills off some dinosaurs and creatures.
Graphics: 6- Dinosaur appears to look blocky, blocky than Turok: Evolution.
Sound: 6- Same as other first person shooters.
Value: 5- Peter Jackson's King Kong: The Official Game of the Movie is just like other first person shooting game with dinosaur as you venture through the Skull Island to save Ann from dinosaurs and at the end, Kong dies.
