Masterful experience for any JRPG fan

Persona 5 brings back a lot of what I love about turn based RPGs, while also bringing to life characters that feel real and believable. The story does a good job at bringing these characters together in a meaningful way that is partly built on friendship, and partly on a shared goal. This game does not shy away from hard hitting emotional situations, and will have you squirm in your seat at some of the things the multiple antagonists do. The most powerful thing a game can do in my opinion is change your view on something in real life. This game does that for me, and I will always be thankful for that.

On top of all of this, you have astounding artistic design, a stunning soundtrack, and a "as deep as you want to go" battle system that feels good when you put in the extra effort to build a powerful Persona of your choosing. Gripes with this game are few and far between, but the only one that stands out to me is that it does ease you into the flow of the game fairly slowly. People use to JRPGs might think this to be standard, but I can see someone new to the genre being a little turned off by it. To be fair, the game does have a lot of different mechanics, and going at a faster pace might have confused players.

Overall, this game comes as close to perfect as games get, and will remain one of my favorites for years to come.
