Persona 5 is a unique game if only foul language didn't get in the way of this Switch debut.

User Rating: 9 | Persona 5 Royal NS

The good: Everything from Persona 5 Royal remains intact, it runs well on the Switch, the difficulty is well balanced and plenty of things to do.

The bad: A lot of foul language messes with the tone of the game, could use more helpful guidance in quests and side quests.

Lots of games has grown up around Tokyo but this game is unique. No silly fantasy or over dramatic storylines or anything too generic could beat this Japanese Role-Playing Game.

First of all, it runs very well on the Switch with minimum frame-rate issues. And the life between school life and fighting shadows in a parallel universe is well thought out.

But the only thing that keeps it from being essential is the use of foul language. Compared to "The Animation", I would've enjoyed it if there's a way to censor bad words if there are kids around. After all, would you fault me to explain to the kids what the bad words mean?

I decide to keep my review short because it would've been impossible to be critical on this superb game. Still, for new Switch fans, if you're not in for the graphics alone, this game is highly recommended for fans of the anime and Japanese role-playing games alike.
