Perfect Dark Zero does alot right. Six more months of development would have made this game worthy of GS's AAA score.

PDZ seemed to be rushed out to meet the 360 launch in 05, and it shows. The visuals are very unpolished but still look great in certain areas, but picture tearing and slow downs are constant throughout the single player. The character models are down right ugly and have been done far better on the original xbox and even the ps2 and gamecube. That said the game still manages to have a unique artistic style that helps to make up for the sloppy graphics. Oh and i should mention the weapons do look great.

The story and voice acting are terrible(and why does Jo now speak with an american accent?)but the gameplay is solid. I like how PDZ sticks to the objective based missions like the original, something most fps don't do these days. The a.i. is nothing special but gets the job done and the weapons are the true stars of this game. PDZ features a great selection of firearms that sound great and are fun to use. All the weopons have a secondary fire mode and all of them come in handy.

The multiplayer is great. Very customizable and the online and splitscreen are a blast. Oh and I almost forgot to mention the soundtrack. It's easily one of my favorites. It's very unique and fits suprisingly well with the gameplay. More time spent on the story, voice acting and visuals would have made PDZ one of the best shooters of this generation.
